Feedback Hub (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides tools that help brick-and-mortar venues collect guest feedback, resolve issues, and publish public reviews. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share personal data when you interact with our website, QR flows, admin dashboard, or related services (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as ratings, written feedback, ideas, contact information, and account credentials for venue operators. We also log device metadata (browser, language, IP-derived location), request diagnostics, and interaction events to secure and improve the Services.
2. Google User Data
When you choose to connect your Google account—such as posting a public review or allowing the venue to manage Business Profile data—we may access limited Google user data via OAuth and Business Profile APIs. Specifically, we may request your name, profile photo, Business Profile account identifier, and review content that you explicitly submit. We only access this data when you actively authorize it, use it solely to complete the requested action (for example, preparing a review draft or showing venue analytics), and never use Google data for advertising.
Google user data is stored using encrypted databases within the EU or United States, retained only as long as necessary to provide the Service or meet legal obligations, and is never sold. We share Google user data only with the venue you interact with, subprocessors that help us deliver the Services (such as cloud hosting or email providers bound by confidentiality), or authorities when required by law. You may revoke our access at any time through your Google Account permissions page, after which we delete cached tokens and any data we are not legally required to retain.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal data to deliver the Services, personalize guest flows, route conversations to staff, issue follow-up vouchers, analyze product performance, detect abuse, and meet contractual or legal obligations. Aggregated or de-identified statistics may be used to improve product features.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We share information with venue operators so they can view and act on feedback, with service providers that process data on our behalf under strict agreements, and with authorities if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property. We do not sell personal data.
5. Data Retention
Feedback conversations, ideas, and resolution history are retained for as long as the venue maintains an account or as required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your personal data, and we will honor the request unless we must keep specific records for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
6. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, logging, and regular reviews of integrations like Google OAuth scopes.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights; we will verify your identity before fulfilling requests.
8. International Data Transfers
We may transfer data to countries where we or our processors operate. When we do, we rely on adequacy decisions, contractual safeguards, or other lawful mechanisms.
9. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided data, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in laws or our Services. We will post the updated policy with a new “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, provide additional notice.
